Brand New Elementary, Middle and High School Units on MLK!

We are excited to announce our new Curriculum Connections unit in commemoration of MLK Jr. Day: Martin Luther King, Jr. and Civil Rights: Relevancy for Today. The 38-page curriculum provides grade-specific lessons for elementary, middle and high school. The lessons ask students to examine civil rights in the United States past and present, and allow students to explore ways they can take action on some of today’s greatest civil rights issues.

5 Tips for MLK Day of Service!

As we honor Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy through the National Day of Service on January 20, 2014, we encourage teachers, parents and families to provide community service opportunities for children and youth.  Check out ADL’s education blog for 5 tips on how to help make the experience even more meaningful.
