ADL’s Next Generation Leadership kicked off 2014 with its social justice-themed happy hour, Cocktails for Equality, at Raw Sushi and Sake Lounge. Cocktails for Equality is a quarterly outreach event that introduces Philadelphia’s young leaders to the League’s work combating anti-Semitism, defending democratic ideals, and protecting civil rights. In addition to the opportunity to mix and mingle with their peers, participants get to hear from speakers on issues relevant to ADL’s agenda. Past events have featured speakers on hate and extremist groups, LGBT advocacy, and cyberbullying.
Next Generation Leadership, the Anti-Defamation League’s young leadership division, connects young professionals with meaningful opportunities to contribute and advocate on behalf of the ADL. NGL offers young leadership with opportunities for leadership development and professional networking, dynamic social activities, educational programs, as well as the chance to make a genuine difference in people’s lives through meaningful community service and hands-on volunteer activities.
