Signature Synagogue Program
ADL’s Signature Synagogue program ignites congregation-wide commitment to challenging antisemitism and hate through community education and engagement. Signature Synagogues enjoy direct access to ADL’s programs, resources and learning opportunities.
If you are interested in learning more or becoming a Signature Synagogue, please fill out the interest form at the bottom of the page. We are actively recruiting synagogue participants across eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and Delaware.

As an ADL Signature Synagogue, you will receive:
- ADL Synagogue Ambassador: Each Signature Synagogue has the opportunity to appoint a congregational leader to serve as a liaison to ADL. ADL Synagogue Ambassadors get exclusive access to ADL staff and help tailor the Signature Synagogue program to their community’s unique needs and interests. ADL Synagogue Ambassadors will learn how to support members of their community with ADL resources and are invited to attend ADL Regional Board Meetings.
- ADL Speaker: Signature Synagogues receive one free presentation by an ADL speaker in the region. Topic items are constantly being updated to meet the issues of the moment and to meet the interests of our congregations. Current topics include antisemitism in the region, extremism across the ideological spectrum, current civil rights issues, Israel and more. The speaker can be used in a small group setting, such as a Board Meeting, a community-wide event or almost anything in between.
- Words to Action (WTA) for Students and Families: WTA workshops are interactive, discussion-based programs focused on providing youth and adults with a heightened understanding of historical and contemporary antisemitism. WTA programs are led by trained ADL facilitators, utilize realistic case studies of antisemitic incidents and include effective tools for taking action. Programs are customizable based on the audience.
- Access to Kulanu Webinars and Resources: The Kulanu program includes access to an online portal with resources and discussion boards to share best practices with other congregations engaging in this work, and exclusive webinars throughout the year with ADL experts on running antisemitism programming in your community.
- Access to Monthly Education Resources: Through ADL’s No Place for Hate® newsletter, clergy and staff may register to receive information about ADL’s education programs and resources.
- 15 Complimentary Tickets to ADL’s Walk Against Hate®: To sign up visit: www.walkagainsthate.org/philadelphia.
Program expectations can be customized to fit the unique needs of the synagogue community.
