Glass Leadership Institute Class of 2013 – 2014 Graduation Ceremony

  • June 30, 2014

Participants in the 2013-2014 ADL Philadelphia Glass Leadership Institute (GLI) class graduated June 18th in a special ceremony.

The Anti-Defamation League’s Glass Leadership Institute is a nationally recognized leadership development program for a select group of young professionals. Over the course of nine months, GLI members participate in 10 interactive sessions lead by ADL professionals on  a broad range of ADL topics, including civil rights, education, and international affairs.

This year, ADL’s Philadelphia enrolled 17 young philanthropic leaders in the 2014 GLI, and had the honor of awarding each one a diploma to signify their graduation from the program at Tuesday’s ceremony.

The graduates were addressed by ADL Philadelphia Interim Regional Director Nancy Baron Baer and ADL Philadelphia Regional Board Chair Andrew Goldman. Both speakers touched upon the importance of engaging young leaders that are committed to ADL’s mission – to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all.

To conclude the ceremony, GLI co-chairs Rachel Berman and Jeffrey Goldberg gave brief remarks and handed out diplomas to each of the graduate.
