ADL Philadelphia Sends Delegation to National ADL Summit

  • May 19, 2016

This week, nearly 30 lay leaders traveled to Washington, DC to represent the Philadelphia Region at the Anti-Defamation League’s National Leadership Summit. Dozens of board members, Next Generation Leaders and Glass Leadership Institute participants joined over 500 ADL leaders from across the country to learn the latest developments in our fight against hate.

“The Summit was an amazing experience,” said Jason Levine, a Glass Leader and attorney at Hangley, Aronchick, Segal, Pudlin & Schiller. “I am not aware of another organization in the country that attracts so many public officials and lay leaders.  It’s a testament to ADL’s compelling mission and incredibly strong partnerships throughout the country and the world.”

Fellow Glass Leader and Supervisor at Temple University Hospital Leah Kellar remarked, “The Summit taught me the importance of communication and understanding at all levels – with peers, mentors, leaders, our government and beyond.”

Marc Prine, Glass Leader and Director of Talent Consulting and Assessment for Taylor Strategy Partners, agreed. “It was great getting to meet people from around the country who are focusing on the same issues as we are in Philadelphia. While the program and speakers were great, the other participants made the experience truly special.”

Will General, Glass Leader and Strategy Analyst at Vanguard, shared his thoughts in a video, saying “It’s been phenomenal to get to meet some great people – incredibly bright, incredibly driven, incredibly focused on pushing forward ADL’s mission.”

Highlights from this year’s Summit included:

  • Hearing personal stories of ADL’s impact on the lives of victims of hate from around the world.
